RoHS and WEE Regulations and Directives

Haynes International Inc. complies with Directive 2011/65/EU and the RoHS (3) regulations and certifies that the following listed substances are not present in quantities exceeding the stated maximum concentration levels.

Lead * 0.1 by weight of homogenous material 1000
Hexavalent Chromium
Polybrominated Biphenyls (PBB)
Polybrominated Diphenyl ethers (PBDE)
Cadmium 0.01 by weight of homogenous material 100
Bis (2-Ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) 1000
Benzyl butyl phthalate (BBP)
Dibutyl phthalate (DBP)
Diisobutyl phthalate (DIPB)

*Directive 2011/65/EU Annex exempts lead from the requirements of Article 4(1) per.

Lead as an alloying element in steel containing up to 0.35% lead by weight, aluminium up to 0.4% lead  alloy containing up to 4% by weight and as a copper alloy containing up to 4% lead by weight.
