Tolerance Guidelines:
Material tolerances not listed below shall be in accordance with the ASTM, ASME, or AMS specification to which the material was produced and certified.

Haynes International LaPorte (USA)

Thickness: 0.015” to 0.250”
Bed size: 60″ x 120”
Minimum width/length: 0.25” (up to 0.125” thick) and 0.50” (> 0.125” thick)
Minimum cut shape size: 1″
Kerf: Approximately 0.020”
Minimum hole size: 2× thickness with a minimum of 0.062”

Standard laser processing tolerances are as follows:

  • 0.015″ to 0.125 thick: +/-0.010″    OD/ID + 0.020”/-0 OD & +0/-0.020” ID
  • >0.125″ to 250″ thick: +/-0.015″    OD/ID + 0.030”/-0 OD & +0/-0.030” ID
  • Diagonal tolerance: 3/16″ maximum on laser cut items.
