Inside Sales Supervisor - Windsor

Department: Sales                   Location:  Windsor, CT

Business Purpose:
Focus on safety in all aspects of the job. Supervise all activities related to Inside Sales Supervisors, Account Specialists, Inside Sales Reps and Administrative Support Staff.  Training of direct reports in all aspects of their job responsibilities.  Provide sales and customer service to all assigned accounts.  Support regional goals for sales, inventory and cash flow.  Work with Regional Sales Reps, Affiliates and Regional Sales Manager/Director on contract support, pricing and delivery.

Role Qualifications: (Required) & (Preferred)

Education:
BS or BA in related field or equivalent sales supervisory experience.  (R)

Experience:
3-5 years inside sales management or supervision experience (R), service center sales/operations (R).

Areas of Knowledge:
Service Center Inside Sales (R); AX or related system (P); Specialty Alloys and Market knowledge (P); Metallurgy (P).

Skills Required:
Selling, leadership and organizational, computer, negotiations, conflict resolution, written and verbal communication (R). Inventory management, accounts receivable management, technical sales/marketing (P).

Specific Accountabilities for the Role:

  1. Manage the daily activities of Inside Sales Supervisors, Inside Sales and administrative staff.
  2. Customer service and sales for assigned accounts .
  3. Work with the Pricing Managers to secure new business.
  4. Communicate market and competitive information to the company as required.
  5. Work with Inside Sales and Affiliates to identify projects that span across regional boundaries.
  6. Represent Haynes in a professional and ethical manner to the industry.
  7. Contract administration and review.
  8. Personnel development and effectiveness reviews for Direct Reports
  9. Provide positive leadership by supporting the company’s objectives.
