Seawater
	In defluorinization systems, HASTELLOY^® C-22^® plate heat exchangers using seawater are providing excellent service after three years in cooling acid fumes (H₂SiF₆, P₂O₅).
This valve cage for a marine diesel engine was weld overlayed with ULTIMET^® alloy. The operating time for the valve cage has increased 2X over previous alloys.
